The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Give details of any variations of IWSF rules. List any alterations to the course, etc. duringthe competition. List any malfunction of equipment. Give any further information which might affect the Tournament Council's assement of the homologation. Item 4: Slalom lines,a 500mm section was taken out to allow for the slalom switch & carabina clip. Item 10:Jump Distance Measurement,Part way through the jump event both jump computers had a siezure and had to be re-booted and the program restarted, during this process an error in setting up resulted in the measurements to grid 1 being up to 2.8 metres optimistic in the distance calculated. This error was not discovered untill after the event,so the effected jumps were recalculated, for world ranking list submission, however the tournament scores remained unchanged.Further documents will be e-mailed re this problem. Item 17: Trick timing was performed by Corson Video trick program with two cameras,VCR's and computers. Surveying: The slalom and jump survey was carried out at high tide, with very little current. A small amount of buoy movement was noticeable when tide movement was at it's greatest. This year the tide was very unusual and did not rise and fall as much as it normally would & this movement was not considered to be cause to not give the slalom & jump & jump courses a standing list classification as these conditions would make it harder for competitors. The position of the jump was sighted at regular intervals & movement relative to the rest position was observed to be less than plus/minus 50mm. As we did last year the vertical movement of the Video Jump grid buoys due to tide fluctuations was compensated for at regular intervals by locking the grid and moving all relevant grid buoys in an up or down direction as necessary. The 150 & 180 metre buoys were a little out of position & due to time constraints were not corrected in time so were left in position, so as not to confuse the skiers.
